The 2016 United States presidential election in Arizona took place on November 8, 2016, as part of the 2016 United States presidential election. Arizona voters chose sixteen representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for President and Vice-President.
Arizona was won by incumbent President Edward H. Johannson (R-Minnesota) with 57.57% of the popular vote, against John C. Dickenson (D-Georgia), with 42.23% of the popular vote. Johannson won Arizona by a margin of 15.34%, with the state weighing in as 7.02% more Democratic than the national average. Johannson carried all but two of Arizona's counties, ancestrally Democratic Greenlee County and neighboring Cochise County, which last voted Republican for Nelson Rockefeller in 1968. In two counties: Coconino (Flagstaff) and Yavapai (Prescott), he received more than 60% of the vote.
