I'm sure many writers would like to collaborate with you but at the moment I'm very busy with The Aliens of the Flaming Red Sun and I feel your approach to religion and mine are totally different. You want to encourage people to be religious. I like to highlight the harm which the wrong type of religion does. I feel highlighting this does good because it encourages religious people to improve their religions or alternatively it makes people less attracted to harmful religions. I've never really collaborated either, but I had a story in mind about twins named Monda and Ryan that are detectives, but they don't try to be. It just comes to them naturally. Their parents are divorced and the father has the older brother while they have younger twins that live with the mom. I was wondering if it was an urban or a rural setting. If more rural, then two possibilities are Rockport and Keokuk. If urban, maybe San Francisco or San Diego. I have an idea for a kind of unusual missing person mystery (if you are interested in such a thing)....no murder....not any crime involved at all. Maybe Monda or Ryan could have a kind of "vision" (see the image, right) that gets them involved in a "missing person case"...they would be the only ones who even recognize the "case" and they would feel obligated to "solve the case" even though nobody else who they know even understands (or is interested in) what they are trying to accomplish. --JWSchmidt 00:35, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

It’s good if some of the stories here have improving messages and are educational but it’s alright if there are some stories here which are just entertaining and don’t teach anything. If a city the size of San Diego is too huge, maybe something the size of Santa Barbara, Iowa City or Gloucester. Possible title: "Justina Waite"...a name invented by Monda and Ryan for the missing person; the real name is not known to them. Maybe the story could start with a description of typical events in part of a normal day for Monda and Ryan...I suggest a heavy dose of texting...then they can stumble upon the mystery. --JWSchmidt 20:32, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

- "good sized town" <-- I suppose I have lost perspective since I now live in a "town" that has about half a million people. One of the "charms" of Iowa City is that it is a university town...also it has the original state capitol building.
